SITE:
A 10 acre-site in the city of Fredericksburg, Virginia

PROGRAM:
Design a three and four story, 130-unit seniors only apartment complex with a multi-use room, gardens, and related amenities.

SOLUTION:
Judicious use of brick, different siding colors, and varied sliding textures in conjunction with various architectural elements such as gables and a tower to mark the entrance to the building provide for a lively facade. The use of deep roof overhangs with brackets accentuates the horizontal nature of the site.
