SITE:
South of the town of Laurel, this site is located adjacent to an office park and backs up to residential housing.

PROGRAM:
Design a 125-unit seniors-only apartment complex with a multi-use room and related facilities.

SOLUTION:
The required unit mix afforded the opportunity to create a 3 and 4 story building with varied balcony arrangements to enhance the facades. Localized exterior spaces, (such as the large entry portico at the front of the building, the roof terrace on the fourth floor, the patio off of the multi-use room), and a walking trail provide spaces for residents to enjoy outdoor amenities.
