SITE: :
Hazel Hill Apartments is located at the southern end of Princess Anne Street in downtown Fredericksburg, Virginia.

PROGRAM:
Completely refurbish the 147-unit townhouse project which had fallen into disrepair over the past three decades. Design a new leasing office & community center for use by the residents and the surrounding community.

SOLUTION:
Newly appointed units with renovated kitchens and bathrooms as well as new HVAC systems increase the residents’ comfort level, while exterior improvements bring a cohesive theme into the site. New windows, siding patterns, covered porches and foundation plantings provide an attractive face to the community.
